Carcassone might be good, but I don't like the farm rules. How does Citadels play like?

I'm checking Zuk's list for other games and Puerto Rico and San Juan are also considerations. I guess I can afford two or more games, right?

I purposefully listed "Carassone: Hunters + Gatherers" rather than the original version of Carcassone. I find H+G to be a better, more-balanced game with more visual appeal than its predecessor. Most people I play with agree with my assessment. I highly recommend this version over any other Carcassone. It's the one with the green box.
