I'm playing a heavy armor/warhammer guy and I started to get a little bored so I switched to wearing light armor and using shield/one-handed weapons. It's made the combat a little different.

Knocking someone's head off with a war hammer never got boring for me... You must be doing something wrong.

I love the shield/sword build. Shield Bash/Power attack to trigger kill-shots is awesome! :)

The shield-bashing sound in the game is great.

I've been getting my enchantment skill up so I can make some soul draining swords.

I got a bow named Lifesyphon, and an epic elven dagger named Gemfiller. All the assassination backstab animations are really satisfying after all the creepy creeping it takes to set them up.

Next time I have to finally try a big bold ain't fraid o nothin walking boldly down the road guy.

Sneakin is so much fun tho!

My character got into solitude when the "traitor" is about to be executed (as usual). I walked right up in front (to nab his amulet of Talos) and when the guys head rolled onto the stage I saw his eyes as they closed. Don't think I'll ever forget that.
I'm not an actor but I play one on TV.

"Does anyone else have a problem with night vision steam mods, " I have found the dark areas of the game to be so bright that night vision is never needed. Night vision just made it all black and white and a bit blurry. There is a brightness slider in the "in game" display controls.

Another amazing subtle detail is the simulation of iris adjustment when your character moves his gaze from a bright area to a dark area and visa versa. From dark to light the light is blindingly light then adjusts, from light to dark the area is too dark then becomes brighter enough to see details. It took me a long time to notice it and it's a little wierd.
