is there a way to just chop the least populated game and rent 1 less room? Yes, unfair for some, but it then becomes tenable for the rest of us, after all that is why we have second and third choices

I thought of that and so far we don't have enough players to cover even just 2 rooms. If I don't get at least 6 more people to sign up by tomorrow we'll try again in the Fall.

Tek, do you have theories about why there are fewer signups in the last few seasons?

I wonder if this time around it's cause one of the fridays is the start of memorial day weekend. I'm adjusting my memweekend plans to work this in though my friends are giving me odd looks for it.

Affirmative. Death-Bot 9000 would rather avoid internet drama.

Yes. First and actually the most encouraging is that NerdNYC is doing what it has set out to do and has brought people together who have then formed their own gaming groups. Many people who I personally emailed to join the GGG said "I am already in too many games" which is like a song in my heart.

Second is that money is tight and 50 bucks is not a small amount to drop on something. Granted it's an amazing deal for 20 hours of fun times but it's not a small sum.

Third is that many people who were once GGG regulars have families now and do not have the time to dedicate to gaming.

Curse my excess of gaming time and money and lack of children! I am forever in thrall to the bitch-goddess GGG!!!
Maybe we prospective GMs should be self-promoting more too.

Check it out people. GGG is a great way to get a deep yet non-infinite gaming experience and meet awesome people!

You'll just have to hunt down your favorite GMs and play some games with them on your own...HINT HINT.
