On May 3, AMC Theaters will be screening all six Marvel movies in chronological order. The 12-hour-plus (!) marathon will include "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor" and "Captain America," capped off with the premiere of "The Avengers."

A few select theaters have already released tickets, with the rest going on sale March 16.

Sad!

Says the man who has sat through the first three Star Trek movies back to back in a movie theatre in the early 80s.

Isn't 12 hours going to damage your enjoyment of the new movie though?

Is anyone planning on doing this? I'm in, but don't want to go alone.

NerdNYC did this as a group for Lord of the Rings (saw the first 2 extended versions, then the 3rd movie premiere).

In total the LOTR marathon was about 9-10 hours. It was amazing but challenging!

How long would this be?

I love my nerd community, I really do...but when I was a bit younger I saw a lot of movies on my own. When I went to go see one of the batman movies I had a terrible experience with a gentleman seeing the movie on his own as well. I'd just feel more comfortable at an event like this with familiar faces. :)

I don't know that I could sit through Hulk or Cap again, especially at the hour they are playing.

I have all of these on BluRay.

I have a 50" Panasonic Viera in the living room.

I will watch these at home. One a night before going to see The Avengers that Friday morning at a matinee and fewer crowds.

WIN.

Shinhakkaider wins this one. Iron Man was a good movie, Thor had a lot going for it, but the others were probably not worth paying to see again.

Can we rent out a room at 440 Studios and have our own screening party for less money per person?
