I would like to try Sean's smoothie, but I am banana allergic... what can I sub instead?

Maybe avacado? It'll add some fat, but give a good consistency and be plenty tasty.

I second this! Half an avocado will make it nice n' creamy. Or a ripe pear or even applesauce for something fat free but with body.

My vegan lunch today:

Stir fried angle hair shirataki noodles with chile bean sauce + soy sauce + curry powder with diced baked tofu, stir fried cabbage, scallions, shallots, broccoli, carrot & snow peas.

Because I don't want everyone to get the idea that vegans only drink smoothies for lunch.

Is the chile bean sauce something you buy or make? I don't think I've seen it before in the store.
