DC reboot: Wildstorm becomes part of standard continuity?

I'm having some problems getting my head around this.

Apollo and the Midnighter are going to exist in the same world as Superman and Batman? Whaaaaa? I've loved these characters since Stormwatch: Change or Die, and I have a hard time accepting that they are being folded in to DC.

This reminds me, I need to go back and re-read Change or Die and the initial Authority run.
