Hypothetical Question About St. Marks & Surrounding Environs

Recipes, carnivores, herbivores, vegetarians, vegans, freegans, single children, twins, quintuplets...

Let's say you've found your self near Astor Place around 4 o'clock on a Saturday evening in June and you've only got an hour to find some dinner and make it back in time for some unnamed obligation. Where do you go?

Tahini on 3rd Ave would definitely be my first choice. Fast, delicious falafel and fries!

But let's pretend you're not even vegan. Where would you go?

You know, I would seriously consider hitting up Little Atlas.

Yes, that's what I'd do. I'd seriously consider it.

Either that pizza place on the corner, the falafel place or this weird Maoist noodle place that is right above that goofy grocery store!

Paul's Burgers on the corner of St. Mark's and 2nd. Which I most likely would do myself, were I man in your situation.

Why isn't this in Food?

I'd choose Baoguette (although their website doesn't list the St. Mark's Place location), or Ramen Setagaya.

Soup 'n' Burger! Quick diner food with a special list of many delicious burger types - they make them to go if you want, too.

There is a Chipotle on E 8th St between Broadway & University if you like McMexican food.

Karen's on Astor is a good place too - good wraps and healthy things.
