GGG question

Bi-monthly RPG Club

Postby BrooklynCrew on Tue Jan 04, 2005 12:39 pm

If I've been coming to the boargaming nights at GGG but am not much of a roleplayer, do I still have to sign up for the $48 3 month plan? Just curious cuz the email I got related to RPG's and didn't mention boardgame nights....

Thanks powers that be...

nope. that $48 bucks is just for the rpg nights because they're much more regular and there are more of them.

are you still interested in becoming a member for the discount?

Did the Compleat Strategist require a $100 purchase? That's not what I negotiated with Danny when I first brought up giving Gotham Gaming Guild members a discount. Did he change his mind or something?

I'd like to be a member, I just don't know if I can commit to any regular gaming

(Why? Because I am an addict. One taste, and I'm off the toning-down-the-gaming bandwagon. Next thing you know, I'm waking up in a gutter somewhere with a chewed d4 between my lips, slurring "I'm not dead... still at -9... someone rez me. (hic) REZ ME, g*d*mmit!")

Can I still join with the membership fee? I'd kinda view it like supporting a worthwhile cause. :)

And, um, I want a card too.

Tim would know. You should PM him directly about it. As I understand, this is what he always had in mind. He has something similar with his wargaming club, except they only get 10% off every time someone spends a $100 and we will be getting 15%. But, I don't know all the info, I would PM Tim directly.

Devildoggie, you should join! Even if you can't make it to all the games. Try to make 4 out of the 6 and it will be doable and you will have a great time :) There are still games available, click here to signup: http://www.nerdnyc.com/guild_signup.php

I signed up, but I absolutely wanted to make sure that no spots are being held fer me -- I don't want to steal someone's spot in these great games or disappoint anyone by not showing up.

Honestly, if I don't work a lot and study a lot from now until June, I'm dogmeat. :p If I start gaming, then it's like free beer night at the A.A. meeting -- all hope is lost!

I'm going to put you in Red Baron's game (your second choice). He is willing to take a lot of players on so taking a spot won't be a problem since his group will be large to begin with. Plus his game can easily be adapted if we know in advance that a given person might not show up. He's also an amazing GM and lots of fun. I'm also in his game :)
