I still have a copy, I have not played since I was 12. I used to Love Stratego.
I hear ya on the Hasbro thing. It's like Luke S. supporting the Emipre... er if he was a gamer... and uh.. the Empire made games.

I'll shut up now

Okay, since you've all been so helpful, I thought I'd tell you what I finally got:

Carcassonne: Hunters and Gatherers
Puerto Rico
Chez Geek
Illuminati Y2K: Deluxe Expansion

I was looking for a magnetic Scrabble, but to no avail. I saw one on a train in Europe or something and have been looking since. Anyone know where I can get one?

I googled Magnetic Scrabble and found a mini travel magnetic version, BUT I could only find UK sites that sell it, hence your problem finding it here. Good luck.

That's what I figured. I looked at the duty free shops at airports in Australia and New Zealand, but no luck. Come to think of it, I think the only time I ever saw magnetic Scrabble was when I caught a glimpse of a couple of people playing it on the Eurostar between London and Paris.

I picked up my travel scrabble edition at Wizards of the Cost for 75% off.

Its not magnetic but has pop in pieces.

Sadly, I don't think those stores are around anymore.

But I do remember Compleat having travel editions.

I'll have to check out the Travel Scrabble, but I'm still more interested in the magnetic version. If anyone goes to London, please get me one. I'll pay you back.

So the ads are true. You can get anything and everything on eBay. Thanks!

It still looks like they're only available from U.K. and Australian sellers though. The American seller only has the blow-up version, not the travel size. Well, at least I know where to look.

Also, I have a friend who just moved from New York to London, so I can probably ask him after he's settled in.

Talisman and Mordhiem are always fun, they just posted the entire Mordhiem book on the specialist games site (and the 2002, or is it 2003 too i think) in PDF format..ya just need the minis and some scenery, which genereally runs muuuch more than $70 bux... but its cheaper (and more fun IMO) then warhammer
