It was bananas! SO MANY THINGS TO KEEP TRACK OF!

I found the card interactions to be the most time intensive part of the game. Can I play a card now? Does my opponent have any light cards so I can play this one? What about card counts? What about location?

Etc. Etc.

Really enjoyed playing it and hoping to eventually actually finish a game. I dig the 1zillion ways to victory and my general feeling of not knowing wtf is going on victory point wise. And the theme is crazy. It's all over the game.

It's definitely fun and interesting. Lots of emergent strategies. Tons of variables from game to game. Myriad hings to keep track of, but we were getting the hang of it after a couple hours. Rulebook was good--I think we only had one issue (keywords on plot cards) that kept cropping up.

And, as said above, it's soaked in theme and flavor, if you're drawn to that sort of thing.

I was less enamored with the rulebook, but I guess in the end it got the job (nearly) done. My favorite part of the game was not being entirely clear on how the game worked. This is no joke. I truly felt like a detective bumbling through a case that was way over his head and above his pay grade. I won by focusing my energy to repair my marriage.

I did spend the least time reading it of the three of us.

Talk about emergent gameplay!
