Welcome newcomers!

If you can, try to bring a game for people to play -- especially ones you can readily teach others.

I plan on attending. I shall be bringing my newly purchased copy of Samurai. And Hive. Someone else can bring Carcassonne this time.

To all who are planning to attend this Saturday:

To inaugurate this first Bonus Boardgame Night of 2012, I will be giving a Special Prize(TM) to the attendee who brings (and is willing to teach) the most board games with them!

*Note: Though I won't hold myself eligible for this contest, I do usually bring five or six games. So if you want to be competitive...

**Note: A deck of playing cards only counts as one game, but attempts to argue otherwise will win you a disapproving glance.

***Note: I will be the final judge on exact boardgame counts. Curry my favor.

Does every expansion of Dominion count as separate games? Weight wise, they do...

If I go to the thrift shop, buy a dozen of the beat-up old copies of Trivial Pursuit they always have there and bring them to boardgame night, will that count of thirteen games because I gamed the contest?!
Zongo!
I keep a gaming wiki, but I'm lazy about it.

Games must be distinct! And physical!

Gaming the contest is an action, not a board game.

Hope to make it this Saturday. As dorje mentioned when he thought he was going to the last board game night can bring the Asia, India and Switzerland maps for Ticket to Ride. Asia has a team play element which we can't do at home because one of the cats died.
