I think Foghat has gotten 2nd-place more times than any other team :/

You've also gotten first place more than almost any other team :)

We kick ourselves for not keeping records of all the wins and losses, but I suspect Sinister Six still has the most wins overall, followed closely by Treebeard and Foghat.

Congrats to Sea Cucumber, a team I do not yet hold any antipathy for!

Some impressive pipes last night, too!

This may have been Sea Cucumber's first big win, but they have always been a strong team and they are only getting stronger. I think y'all need to watch out for them!!

Horse-hooey. Treebeard.
It is the most shattering experience of a young man's life when one morning he awakes and quite reasonably says to himself "I will never play the Dane."

Treebeard has a lot of wins under their belt, but Sinister Six was winning True Nerd Trivia before Treebeard even existed!

If we were comparing wins-per-games-played, I think there's a good chance that Treebeard might have a better record than the Six.

Again, I wish we kept better records! Maybe it's time for us to go back through all the nerd and facebook posts and get some stats!

Wow, great game everyone! We were not expecting that, I can tell you. We missed 3 of the asshole questions, and one of the regular ones (and we don't blame Steve for that one, he still knows a whole lot more about Adventure Time that any of the rest of us), and were sure that Sinister 6 had it all tied up. Lucas did his homework, and in the end, had to admit that he missed the Round 3 Asshole question fair & square, as Nienor was a completely different character from Nienna, so we couldn't try to get away with fuzzy spelling. We should have the team banner ready for next month.

And all I can say is: More Doctor Who questions, please! It almost validates all that time I spent videotaping old episodes off of channel 21 when I was in high school. :)

I will never stop kicking myself for missing that Doctor Who question.

Robot I knew right off. I very nearly put Terror of the Zygons, but that was next year. As it was I was afraid that Genesis of the Daleks and Revenge of the Cybermen were as well. I'd forgotten about The Sontaran Experiment completely, and I couldn't remember the name of The Ark in Space at the time.
