A very good win for Treebeard!

The Sinister Six were the biggest assholes in the room since we were the only team to answer any asshole questions. TAKE THAT!

I'll take your asshole and raise you... erm this is getting weird.
It is the most shattering experience of a young man's life when one morning he awakes and quite reasonably says to himself "I will never play the Dane."

While this sucks even though it looks like trivia will happen, I can't say I honestly blame them. One of the two Manhattan sports teams is in a 7th game of a playoff series. That's potential huge business for a bar.

I can blame them for not emailing to alert BAW and Jimb earlier about the change. The Rangers won, what, the night before? An email the next morning after the win would have saved a lot of headaches and scrambling. No one is saying the bar does not have the right to make money, the issue is their late notice and lack or respect for the event that was booked there.

Congratulations to the winners, and it seems like a good time was had by all. I'm loving the new space, hope we can keep it.

Treebeard are back from the grave thanks mainly to Misk's friend (who isn't Beer it seems) knowing about video games (the chink in our armour) and french internet memes.
I pulled 'Ghanima' out of my backside with seconds to go and know what Port Merion is because I'm not from around here.
My son is currently annoying the hell out of daycare with the American Idol Kazoo I won for him.

Cheers!

Beer is everyone's friend, if only you could see.

But yes, my other friend totally kicked ass on that French internet subculture question. And for the second time, I was the only one to remember the name of a potion from Harry Potter, a fact which makes me obscurely ashamed.

I wasn't aware of a late notice. So that's not what I was "not blaming" them for.

Of course. Every business of course should be allowed to operate as they please. It all worked out better than we all expected in the end. My only problem is that you were not there Deadman...
