[GGG4] One shot games

Bi-monthly RPG Club

Postby urbwar on Sun Feb 05, 2006 7:20 pm

I was chatting with jenskot via email regarding some one shot games I was planning on running. I had some ideas, but he mentioned some people were looking for some other types of games as well.

So I figured I'd see what people might be interested in, before I make my decisions on what to run.

At the moment, I had plans for:

1) A horror scenario

2) A semi-pulpish scenario

3) a cartoonish superhero scenario

so what are people interested in?

just to link up with another thread.....

When do you plan on running this? We've got somebody who could use our help with a school project who needs to get in a game pretty quick.

Could be some good press for NerdNYC :)

If I do run this, anyone who plays is actually going to also be a playtester, since I plan on running it with the upcoming Cartoon Action Hour Season 2 rules

The earliest I (iirc) that I told jenskot was March 31st. I'm going to be away on the 17th, and I've been doing OT on Friday's from 3-11:30 pm on certain weeks, so I am likely to be doing so on March 10th as well.

Hmm, maybe I'll do mine on the 10th then.
I don't mind being played as long as [Megan Fox] keeps saying stuff like "I'll get naked and do a robot to sell movie tickets" cause that's the kind of future I want to live in. -cawshis

oh yeah, for the supers game: I was originally planning a Teen Titans-like game, but could easily go for something with more adult characters

I love Teen-Titans!

(However, if you run it on March 31st, I will not be able to attend as I will be in Hawaii.)

I was thinking of doing the horror scenario first, so that shouldn't be a problem Gronti
