i can't believe clem and mathias aren't dead - and that the kid actually listened to his jerk uncle. we've gotta do a whole "training the kid to use a bow" scene so they could be just like Green Arrow and Speedy.

as for the rest of us (or at least the Doctor and Sir Crassus), looks like we got played. stupid wanker prince. at least we made him pee himself before he has the Doctor drowned.

thanks, emukt & droz & isk & lin for an awesome session.

cawshis - you were there in spirit as we all made a play for riverlands and stopping the treaty.

fixed your post!

also, the Doctor will certainly be dead meat without the big strong knight guy Crassus to rescue him

emukt-

not sure if you have time to answer these questions but there is a couple things i think we need to know as players to proceed a bit in the next session.

it seems like there is a lot of factions and we haven't learned anything about them or their agendas, in particular i think the role of the Spymaster Prince and Crown Prince Garret are confusing.

for example, my intent in my past few scenes have to be to play up the idea that Prince Garret is going to kill the King. however, if the Prince is actually LYING to us then aren't we supposed to be subject to his falsehood role? i need that information at least in order to make decisions in our next session.

the Spymaster Prince likewise has been trying to woo Tilan, Court Lawyer, into selling him information. this plays into Tilan's beliefs, but hasn't really netted Tilan information that he wants (about the North). are we just not going to get that information until the end? is there a mechanical way for Tilan to get information about the north on his own? (a circles test with "smugglers" he know from his criminal days?)

others-
it seems like, in terms of convincing the Wryst delegation that the treaty is bad, we should try and Duel of Wits the Bishop's childhood friend Ambassador guy that it's a bad idea to have the Lunalt troops in Wryst.

also, isn't the timeline of Clem & Uncle Mathias still operating weeks behind where the other characters are? can we fast forward or something and have them rendez-vous with Multon or even the Sarge (retired) at his house in Plowcrest, just as Sarge is about to be called up for Orc Killing service by Baron Alther?

cawshis- can we convince you to roll in this friday?

That would be cool, cawshis. Très cool.

I think mtiru's got a good point: I felt I was floundering a bit at the end of last session, without enough information to act and certain (perhaps unjustifiably) that there was stuff that I needed to know to be able to play the Bishop.

I've still got a plan for him though: he's going to push hard to have the sorcerer executed, and if that fails (which it should, 'cos we wouldn't want to kill mtiru's guy off... yet), he'll... well... wait and see!
