Sorry about this, I've been putting this off and off and off again, and with rehearsals and trying to get ready for this crazy ass mudder race, and gaming on a far too regular basis, I've blown this off from my lousy story idea.

Sunday the day of my race and the son's dance recital...but maybe I can use the time tonight to get through a draft and tomorrow to rest and write...I'll give it a shot.

So sorry about this, Saif, but I've been too busy putting my portfolio and such together for some extra schooling (finally decided to try for my Masters in Illustration). I'm afraid I won't be able to submit a story, but if you still need artwork for the book please let me know!

I'm really sorry that I flaked as well. Honestly, I have just been inundated with writing comic scripts lately, and if that wasn't enough, the sheer fact that I've been in script-writing mode for so long made my few attempts at writing prose really horrible. It's like my writing brain has been rewired (temporarily I hope). Anyway, I just wanted to apologize for not getting anything in... I hope you were able to snag a few more stories with the extended deadline.

Hey Saif,

So who has submitted? Still just Saif, Zuk, Kajabor, Faust? One thing we could do is open up a general call for submissions on one of the literary websites that host such things. I'm not super-well versed on this, but I know of Poets and Writers

I realize that would mean a lot more work, but if we put a short window on submissions (say, "will accept submissions from June 25 through 28th) it might be manageable. Or maybe not! But I'd be willing to help sort through submissions of you want to go that way.

Just a suggestion, though, I understand if that's not something you'd like to do.

Also, thanks for your efforts on this so far, and for not being a flake!
