Help me find this music video.

So, recently while watching E3 coverage, they showed Rocksmith. One of the people they had talking about it was Dave Navarro of Jane's Addiction. Now, I don't listen to Jane's Addiction (Should I? What's the opinion of them?).

Anyway, here's my whole point. I had a flashback to YEARS ago when I was watching MTV or VH1 (It would have had to have been many years if it was indeed MTV showing an actual music video) and a video was playing. Now, for some reason, my mind remembers it as being a video by Jane's Addiction...but it's like nothing I can find online. So maybe I'm way off on the band.

Here's they few defining details I can remember from it:

It had a lot of white room scenes. Possibly a lab of some sort.
They were building a robotic woman? My mind for some reason thinks it was Carmen Electra...

That's about all I can remember. If anyone knows what I'm rambling about, please help!

Jane's Addiction is one of my all-time favorite bands. Ritual de lo Habitual is a masterpiece! Nothing afterwards is worth it, though. Preceding it are two great albums, Nothing's Shocking and Jane's Addiction.

As for that video, it doesn't ring any Jane's bells. Any inkling on what kind of music it was?

Jane's Addiction is awesome! Definitely one of the best bands ever.

They didn't make many videos, though. The only two that got any play on MTV were:

and

They broke up almost immediately after that, and didn't get back together for about 20 years.

Saw them last summer, though, they're still amazing.

I remember a bjork video that sounds like what you describe.
I'm not an actor but I play one on TV.

Oh man, now I have to go dig up some Jane's Addiction. I used to have Ritual on vinyl.

Well, now I know what I have to let my ears sample at some point! :D

anyway, though the Duran Duran video has some of the aspects, it's definitely not that. This was a smoother video, framerate-wise. Also I think I remember some heavy use of depth of field? And it was, and I'm totally just ballparking on the music, something kinda slow and heavy-ish compared to Duran Duran? I know that's a terrible desription.

It should be this, because it is fantastic...

Alas, still not it. Though watching that made some more details resurface in my memory.

It was a video where the band was present in it. And the girl was human (as in skin, hair, etc.). Also, listening to those Jane's Addiction songs...definitely NOT them. But now it's got me all curious as to waht it was.
