Less sugar, more fiber!

Months ago I lost 30 pounds eating tiny meals, 6-8 times a day (wow, this sounds like spam).

And it worked well and I mostly kept off the weight I lost. But I've gotten too busy to keep it up and it was fairly expensive eating that way. Now I'm back to losing weight by simply eating less sugar and more fiber.

For sugar, I try to avoid foods that have added sugar so I will buy Almond Milk that is unsweetened or Strawberry Jam without sugar added. I stay away from soda and juice. And I try to avoid over using honey or Agave (I went a little crazy with these before).

For fiber, foods I like...

- Blueberries
- High Fiber Cereals
- Kidney Beans
- Split Peas
- Lentils
- Black Beans
- Lima Beans
- Baked Beans
- Navy Beans
- Soy Beans
- Dates
- Chick Peas
- Figs

So far I've found Kidney Beans give me the biggest bang for my fiber buck.

I've been making smoothies with leafy greens and then adding blueberries and you can barely taste all that green stuff!

Rock,
John

You can hear him digesting for miles.

At 39, I think about fiber a lot differently than I did at 19.

I fucking love kidney beans. They're a bean's bean.

To the gameless I bring games. To the funless I bring fun. Those who welcome these gifts may live, but I will visit naught but death and eternal damnation on those who refuse them!

We never ate kidney beans growing up but I've learned they are the king of kings in the bean kingdom!

YES less carbs more fiber!

Consider mongolian BBQ - you can pick exactly the ruffage you like and they cook it up and you're good to go.

Fiber One cerials are suprisingly good too.
