I need to know so I can live vicariously through you all. Though my computer can run it, I cannot play it. From the gameplay I've viewed...it would destroy my life.

Post screenshots! Give me a little taste of the good stuff.

Questionor has already answered your post, but let me expand upon his answers;

Are people having fun?
I am having a blast in this game. It is absurdly fun. There have been a few hiccups with servers, but they seem to have nailed most of that down.

Are they all strung out on purple loots and massive boss fights?
Loot abounds, but most if it is pretty mediocre as far as stats, but that is a GOOD thing. They have not yet gotten into the mad escalation of loot that WoW has slipped into. Like Questionor said, on normal things are pretty easy, so lots of rare and unique items would make it sort of ridiculous. The boss fights, and I've only played a few, are fairly challenging, and occasionally you are mobbed by a lot of mobs and things can get pretty tense, especially after you've downed the Skeleton King and the mobs start scaling up a bit more steeply.

Are the environments hilariously destructible?
Absolutely! As are the enemies. My barbarian frequently hits zombies and opponents so hard that not only do they explode in gouts of blood, but their skeletal structure gets knocked right out of them and flies off. It's glorious! The rest of the environment has a lot of destructible scenery, and the game encourages you to go to town on them by fgiving little XP boosts when you smash, shoot, and otherwise blow up the scenery. :)

I'd suggest you play, but I don't want you to destroy your life. :tu: Still, you should play...

Hey queenmob!
What we need is a comic panel of diablo with a demon hunter in the background saying I used to be a prime evil but then I took an arrow to the knee. :D

I'm having a good time playing this game. I'm not normally into this kind of game, but I like it.

Do you guys play hardcore? I have one normal character and one hardcore character. I really like the witchdoctor.

I have been playing on Normal only thus far. When I finish it on Normal I may give hardcore a shot. How are you finding Hardcore?

The cutscene between Act I and Act II is really impressive. I've said it before, but Blizz knows how to make a great animated cinematic. I wonder if they've ever had aspirations to do a full on Animated feature.

I did a fair amount of grinding but got to the end boss at Level 32. Feels a bit low but challenging and fun. Probably ~35 would even out the difficulty but ~32 is pretty challenging in a good way.

What class are you playing? (I'm playing barbarian) Did you turn on and take advantage of elective mode?
I got to final boss on normal also at 32 (or maybe 31 I forget) and I feel totally overpowered. I still died playing if I get overwhelmed with mobs and I'm not paying attention to health or I was impatient and started fights with like only 1/3 of health but it still seemed pretty easy. I'm figuring I was totally overlevel since crafting on level gear required nightmare mats I had to buy on AH.
Have you been crafting armor/weapons for your level (since what drops is is significantly lower than that)?
Have you been buying gems on the AH? (The cost to upgrade gems is stupid compared to the going rate to just buy them)
