I would so love to see a new installment. This was one of my favorite games ever, second only to Planescape: Torment. Clearly, BioWare knew how to make a good narrative that took advantage of the medium.

Awesome! I'd love to play another Baldur's Gate game. I was a huge fan as well.

Icewind Dale was also really good, but lacked much of the RP goodness between party members.

Color me interested if they decide to resurrect that franchise.

With Skyrim's success, maybe we're seeing more open-world RPGs! Which is cool - I like them a lot. Even if my time management goes to shit. :(

It sill bugs me that whenever I talk about how good Baldur's Gate (II: Shadows of Amn) was, people think I'm talking about that $h1tty Dark Alliance game that was on consoles. Baldur's Gate was the best expression of D&D I ever expereinced as a videogame.
