Who is buying it? Anyone as excited as I am? I am already worrying about DLC, isn't that ridiculous? I have the tendency to buy DLC I don't even want because I feel like my gaming experience is incomplete without it. This is a holdover from the old RPG days when I would spend an extra 70 plus hours just doing all the side quests and maxing out weapons, skills, armor, etc.

I'm not sure what DLC is but I'm totally buying this!

Down-Loadable Content. We live in the age of the microtransaction.

I am very much looking forward to it (I finished Fallout 3 hours before VeggieWife went into labor with Veggiebaby), but haven't even gotten around to opening the last of the games (Modern Warfare 2) that I got for Christmas last year, let alone picking up Red Dead Redemption (amongst others) yet.

As it is, Dragon Age will likely take me weeks and weeks.

DLCs of Fallout 3 were all large quests with new armors, weapons and monsters. The Pitt took place in and around a steel plant in pittsburg, Point Lookout took place in a southern backwater seaside swamp and Mothership Zeta took place on an alien space ship.

I CAN'T Fucking Wait!!!! I still play fallout 3 all the time with a zillion mods. I really hope fallout 3 nexux does a New Vegas section. Bethesda notices what mods are made for their games and incorporates good ideas and even hire modders when making new versions. Even though FNV is developed by another company it looks like they incorporated some modders ideas with this release too.
I'm not an actor but I play one on TV.

So far it is awesome sauce. The VATS system is still in place, I had heard rumors they nixed that, but I always liked it anyway. I am loving this so far. Back to New Vegas!

This reviewer sums up my feelings quite nicely. It is a fun experience, but the game itself is not up to standard.

The PC version consistently crashes at the same spot on my computer. Hope it gets patched soon.

I am in hour 15 or so of the game and it has finally totally sucked me in. At first I felt it wasn't as immersive as Fall out 3 but then a couple of story lines and quests came along and I found myself reacting physically to the game. Jumping at the scary parts, etc. I hope they patch it soon too. I left a cavern to have the game crash on me while loading into the new area. I had to restart my whole xbox. Fortunately it auto saved and I didn't have to slit my wrists.
